Get to know Sheel:
Sheel grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and competed in club soccer throughout her childhood. Sheel is a senior at the University of Minnesota studying cellular and organismal physiology with a minor in health psych. Sheel will be persuing a pre-dental track following her senior year in the Twin-Cities.
When Sheel is outside of her role on the UMN Club team she works at a local park dental as an unlicenced dental assistant. Sheel will be cheering on our squad from the sidelines and will behind our social media accounts. Additionally she will be photographing our successes throughout the season. Welcome to the Squad Sheel!

Registration is still open to all University of Minnesota Students! Undergraduate students from Freshman to Seniors, Graduate and Ph.D students are eligible to participate with club soccer. Click the registration button below to register!

UMNW closes out the 2020/2021 year
The University of Minnesota Women's Club Soccer Team closed out the spring season with two wins over the St. Thomas Tommies. On April 18th Minnesota visited the Tommies and finished with a 3-0 victory. (Goals by Ellie Bettenhausen, Kylee Wunschel and Emma Staszkiewicz.) On April 29th the teams met again at UMNW's home field, and pulled off the 1-0 win. The goal came late from sophmore Megan Dohmen.
UMNW will be back in action this fall and are hoping for an eventful, normal season! Stay tuned for more information about tryouts.

UMN Men's Alumni, Jose Leon, to lead UMNW
The University of Minnesota Women's Club Soccer team is thrilled to announce that Jose Leon will join the team as the sole coach going forward! Leon graduated from the University of Minnesota in the Spring of 2019 after competing with the Men's Club team for four years. Leon has almost a decade of experience coaching youth players in the St. Louis Park area despite being in his mid twenties. Today Leon coaches for Park Valley United FC Soccer Club as a director. We are excited to welcome back to campus Jose!
